IDB to donate $55 million to Haiti
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has approved a $ 55 million grant for a project to strengthen public management and improve service delivery in Haiti.
The project will contribute to expanding the coverage of services provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development (MARNDR) and the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Communications (MTPTC) as well as improving management and labor productivity of human resources in the public administration. U.S. ambassador expects “solid results” after Haiti Tech Summit 2019
U.S. ambassador to Haiti Michele Sison has not stopped raving about her satisfaction with this year’s Haiti Tech Summit in addition to mentioning that women’s entrepreneurship is a priority for the U.S. embassy.
